By signing below, I acknowledge the following distinctions:

Unarmed Guards:

Weapons: Unarmed guards do not carry firearms or any other lethal weapons. They may carry non-lethal weapons like batons, pepper spray, or tasers depending on the regulations and policies of their employer and local laws.
Duties: Unarmed guards typically perform security tasks such as monitoring surveillance equipment, conducting patrols, checking credentials, and providing assistance to customers or employees. They may also be responsible for controlling access to a facility, deterring theft, and responding to alarms or emergencies.
Training: Emphasizes observation, conflict resolution, and customer service, as per Texas law requirements.

Armed Guards:

Weapons: Armed guards carry firearms as part of their duty equipment. They are trained and authorized to use lethal force if necessary to protect themselves or others from imminent threats.
Duties: Armed guards perform many of the same duties as unarmed guards, such as patrolling, monitoring security systems, and controlling access to a facility. However, they are also responsible for maintaining the security of their firearms, ensuring they are properly stored and only used in accordance with their employer's policies and applicable laws.
Training: Subject to extensive firearms training and must adhere to Texas laws governing the use of force and weapons licensing.

Firewatch :

Duties: Tasked with fire prevention and detection, particularly on construction sites or in facilities with high fire hazards.
Responsibilities: Monitor for fire risks, enforce safety protocols, and respond to emergencies, in accordance with Texas fire safety regulations.
Training: Includes fire safety procedures, detection techniques, and compliance with Texas fire codes and regulations.

Bodyguards:

Duties: Provide close protection to individuals, such as public figures or high-profile executives, to mitigate risks like physical harm, kidnapping, or harassment.
Skills: Trained in defensive tactics, risk assessment, and crisis management, adhering to Texas laws on personal protection and security services.
Equipment: May carry firearms or other defensive tools in compliance with Texas laws governing security personnel and firearm licensing.
